Swagat Star Anise (Badyan, Chakra Phool).
Eight -shaped star spices are widely used in kitchens around the world. It has a rich aroma and a pleasant sweet taste with a slight bitterness, well suited for fresh onions, garlic, fennel, cinnamon or ginger.
Star Anise is used for chicken, beef, pork and fish. The sweet pungent aroma of star anise is excellent even in mixtures of fruit, jams and pickles. In Ayurveda, Star Anise uses as an expectorant and antispasmodic, it also has a positive effect on the digestive tract. Seed decoction is recommended to children in stomach cramps.
