Ingredients: Tamarind pulp 96%, Water, Salt.

In India and Indonesia, tamarind is used to make curries, savory pasta and the classic tamarind sauce. Tamarind is also added to hot soups and rice dishes. Tamarind has a sweet aroma and a sour-fruity taste similar to plum jam.

Gently chop the pulp and cook for 10 minutes in a small volume of water until softened and stratified (250 ml of water for 225 g of tamarind). Then use    a  sieve to squeeze out as much liquid as possible from the pulp. Discard the remaining pulp and use the liquid as a seasoning. Tamarind is very sour and must be heavily sweetened when cooking.

This tropical fruit is very healthy. It contains almost the entire spectrum of B vitamins, as well as A, C, PP and E. The pulp is rich in minerals that the human body needs to receive. Thanks to this excellent composition, tamarind is an ideal part of a balanced diet.
