Tilda is an English company that was the first to introduce basmati rice to the Western world 40 years ago. Over time, Tilda has become a world renowned brand that sells Basmati rice currently in over 50 countries. Tilda selects high quality Basmati rice from over 10,000 independent farmers. The company's goal is to offer consumers real and authentic Basmati rice without the addition of other varieties and with a maximum percentage of whole grains. The rice selection system is very strict, the grain is carefully sorted and selects the fragments from which starch is released during the cooking process, causing the grains to stick together.

Tilda Basmati Rice is naturally gluten free, suitable for the diet and will be appreciated by athletes for its easy digestibility and nutritional value.

How to cook basmati rice to keep its unique taste.

* First rinse the rice. * Proper cooking of basmati rice is stewing, not boiling, so we recommend 1 part rice to 2 parts water, no more. * Add rice to boiling water (salt to taste). * Just before the boiling point, cover the pot with aluminum foil, which you fold under the top of the pot and cover with a lid. This will ensure the pot is properly sealed and no steam escapes. * Cook the rice for 8-10 minutes at the lowest temperature, then remove it completely from the stove and steam the rice for another 5 minutes.  * Remove the foil from the pan and stir the rice with a fork.
